Keeaira Press is currently working on a book of the life story of Aboriginal elder Kathleen Lena. In the book Kathleen discusses her life in the Tweed region of northern New South Wales and her childhood growing up at Beaudesert in south-east Queensland.

Keeaira Press is a small publishing house established by Michael Aird in 1996. The primary interest is in recording aspects of Aboriginal history and culture. Many of our publications have a strong photographic content. As well as publishing our own books we also make avaliable a select range of books and DVDs from other publishers.
