Keeaira Press is currently working on a book of the life story of Aboriginal elder Kathleen Lena. In the book Kathleen discusses her life in the Tweed region of northern New South Wales and her childhood growing up at Beaudesert in south-east Queensland. Keeaira Press is a small publishing house established by Michael Aird in 1996. The primary interest is in recording aspects of Aboriginal history and culture. Many of our publications have a strong photographic content. As well as publishing our own books we also make avaliable a select range of books and DVDs from other publishers. All products listed on this website are in stock and can usually be sent by post or courier within 48 hours of the order being recieved. Orders can be made by post, fax, email or by phone. Schools, government departments and booksellers can place orders and goods will be supplied with an invoice. A standard trade discount on all items is offered to booksellers. |
